Root Was Where I Planted the Truth. Becoming Is What Grew from It.

Root was where I planted the truth. Becoming is what grew from it.

Root is not a chapter I have left behind. It is still here—alive in the questions, wounds and truths that shaped it. Those songs continue to mean what they meant when I wrote them, and they continue to meet listeners wherever they are.

Becoming does not replace Root. It grows beside it.

If Root was the courage to name what was buried, Becoming is the space that opened once the truth reached the light. One record asks us to look honestly at where we stand. The next asks what we might become from there.

Healing is rarely a clean handover from one version of ourselves to another. We can honour what hurt and still welcome what is changing. We can carry an old truth without living in an old moment. Both can be true.

So this season is not about moving on from Root. It is about continuing the conversation—returning to those songs, opening stronger doors into their lyrics, and letting their meaning travel forward into Becoming.

Becoming is out now. It is Sarven’s final project of 2026.

Sarven

I am Sarven, an independent artist and storyteller.

I write songs for the conversations people have with themselves when no one else is around.

My music lives where emotional truth meets lived experience, transforming quiet battles into stories that help people feel understood.

Every lyric begins with a question, every song with a search for meaning. Whether it's identity, healing, love, purpose, grief or beginning again, I write for those who have carried feelings they could never quite put into words.

My sound is emotional realism. Honest, cinematic and deeply human.

I don't believe music should simply entertain. I believe it should accompany people through life.

That's why every song I create is written with intention, exploring personal transformation alongside the wider questions that shape our world.
